WOW! (WideOpenWest) Router Login

WideOpenWest — branded as WOW! — is a cable internet provider serving parts of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. It's a mid-tier cable operator, smaller than Comcast or Charter but a significant provider in the markets it covers. WOW! deploys Arris, Technicolor, and Hitron gateways to residential customers depending on your plan and when you were last provisioned with new equipment.

Because WOW! uses hardware from multiple manufacturers, the admin IP varies by model. Try 192.168.0.1 first — this covers most Arris and Technicolor units. Newer Hitron gateways use 192.168.100.1.

How to Log In

  1. Connect to WOW! WiFi or via ethernet into the gateway
  2. Open a browser and try http://192.168.0.1 — if that doesn't load, try http://192.168.100.1
  3. Username: admin (or cusadmin on older Hitron units)
  4. Password: password or the unique password on your device label
  5. If you're unsure which model you have, look at the label on the back — the model number determines the admin IP

WOW! One App

WOW!'s WOW! One app provides account management — bill payment, service status, and basic network management. It doesn't offer as deep WiFi settings control as the gateway web interface, but covers common tasks like WiFi password changes without needing to know the admin IP. Log in with your WOW! account credentials (not the gateway admin password).

Change WiFi Password

  1. Log in at 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 (whichever loads)
  2. Navigate to Wireless or WiFi Settings
  3. Update the WiFi password for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands
  4. Click Save — devices must reconnect with the new password

Bridge Mode

To use your own router, put the WOW! gateway in Bridge Mode. On Arris TG units: log in → Basic → Gateway Function → set to Disabled. On Hitron units: log in → Basic → Gateway → disable Gateway Function. After enabling bridge mode, your own router connects to the gateway's LAN port and receives the public IP address.
