Technicolor Router Login
Technicolor (formerly Thomson) is a French company that manufactures residential gateways deployed by ISPs — the brand is invisible to most users because ISPs rebrand the hardware. You'll find Technicolor modems and gateways deployed by Comcast/Xfinity, AT&T, Charter/Spectrum, and many European and Australian carriers. If you see model numbers like TC7200, TC8715, or DGA4132, that's Technicolor hardware.
The typical admin IP is 192.168.0.1 and default credentials are admin / admin on consumer-branded units. ISP-deployed units often have the password on the device label instead. The web interface is straightforward — basic WiFi, LAN, and security settings.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| 192.168.0.1 not loading on Comcast unit | Comcast Technicolor uses 10.0.0.1 — see the Xfinity guide |
| admin/admin rejected | ISP-deployed unit — check the label for a unique password |
| Port forwarding greyed out | ISP may lock port forwarding on their deployed units — contact ISP |
| Forgot password | Factory reset: press and hold reset button 10–15 seconds |
Factory Reset
Locate the reset button (usually a pinhole on the back) and hold for 10–15 seconds while the unit is powered on. The device reboots to factory defaults. For ISP-deployed units, factory reset removes ISP configuration — the gateway may need to be re-provisioned by your ISP before internet service works again.
