Wavlink Router Login
Wavlink is a Chinese networking brand competing directly in the budget WiFi 6 space, often undercutting established brands on price for comparable specs. Their admin panel is accessed at the local hostname wifi.wavlink.com or the IP address 192.168.10.1 — they use the 192.168.10.x subnet, similar to Cudy. There's no universal default admin password; Wavlink requires you to set a password during first-time setup.
Wavlink sells a mix of WiFi 5 (AC) and WiFi 6 (AX) routers, range extenders, and mesh systems — mostly targeting the value end of the market. The admin interface is simple and clean with a mobile-first layout.

How to Log In
- Connect to Wavlink WiFi (default SSID is "Wavlink_XXXX" or similar) or via ethernet
- Open a browser and go to
http://wifi.wavlink.com - If that doesn't load, try
http://192.168.10.1 - On first visit: you'll be prompted to set an admin password — this becomes your login credential
- On subsequent visits: enter the password you set
First-Time Setup
Wavlink routers walk through a setup wizard on first boot:
- Select your WAN connection type (typically DHCP for cable/fiber, PPPoE for DSL)
- Set your WiFi network name and password for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
- Set an admin password — this protects the router's settings
- The router connects and applies settings
Wavlink Halo Mesh Setup
Wavlink's Halo mesh system connects multiple nodes into a single network. Add nodes by:
- Power on the additional node within range of the main router
- Log in to the main router at wifi.wavlink.com
- Go to Mesh → Node Management
- The new node should appear — click to add it to the mesh
- Alternatively use WPS: press WPS on both devices within 2 minutes
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| wifi.wavlink.com not loading | Try 192.168.10.1 directly — the hostname only works on Wavlink network |
| Forgot admin password | Factory reset: hold reset button 8–10 seconds — you'll need to set a new password on first login |
| 192.168.1.1 not working | Wavlink uses 192.168.10.1 (the .10.x subnet) |
| WiFi 6 speed underwhelming | Check that your device supports WiFi 6 (AX) — older devices connect at WiFi 5 speeds regardless of router capability |
Factory Reset
Hold the reset button on the back or bottom for 8–10 seconds with the router powered on. The LED will flash and the router reboots. After reset, you must run first-time setup again and create a new admin password.
