Actiontec Router Login
Actiontec is a US-based company that makes routers almost exclusively for ISP deployments — you won't find their products on retail shelves. Their two most widely deployed models are the MI424WR (the original Verizon FiOS router, deployed in enormous numbers from 2006 through the 2010s) and the GT784WN (CenturyLink's DSL gateway). Both are WiFi 4 (N-series) hardware now considered legacy, but millions are still in service.
The admin address is 192.168.1.1 for Verizon-branded units and 192.168.0.1 for CenturyLink. Credentials differ by model — Verizon units have the admin password on the device label, while the GT784WN defaults to admin / admin.

The MI424WR — Verizon's Legacy FiOS Router
The MI424WR is worth a specific note because so many people still have one. It was the standard Verizon FiOS router for years — a purple-tinged device with coaxial MoCA ports for connecting set-top boxes. The current Verizon G1100 and G3100 replaced it, but MI424WR units are still running in homes where customers haven't upgraded equipment.
If you have an MI424WR, note that it runs 802.11n (WiFi 4) — maximum 600 Mbps theoretical, much less in practice, and no 5 GHz on most revisions. If you have Fios Gigabit service, this router is the bottleneck. Verizon will upgrade your equipment if you call and ask.
