Keenetic Router Login
Keenetic (formerly ZyXEL Keenetic, then spun off independently) is a Russia-based networking brand with a notably deep feature set for the price. Their routers are popular in Russia, Eastern Europe, and the CIS region, and are increasingly sold internationally. The firmware — KeeneticOS — offers VPN clients (OpenVPN, WireGuard, L2TP), VLAN support, USB storage sharing, and KeenDNS (dynamic DNS service) as standard features, not paid upgrades.
The admin address is my.keenetic.net (local hostname) or 192.168.1.1. Default credentials are admin / admin. On newer KeeneticOS versions, a password change may be required during initial setup.

What makes Keenetic worth knowing: the feature set shipped by default is unusually comprehensive compared to Western brands at the same price point.
- WireGuard client — Connect the entire router to a WireGuard VPN provider. All devices route through the VPN automatically.
- OpenVPN client/server — Full OpenVPN support for both connecting to external VPNs and hosting your own
- VLAN support — Create separate network segments on any LAN port
- USB storage / print server — Plug a USB drive or printer into the USB port and share it on the network
- KeenDNS — Free dynamic DNS service from Keenetic for remote access to your router without a static IP
- 4G failover — Some models connect a USB 4G modem as a backup WAN link

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| my.keenetic.net not loading | Only works locally — try 192.168.1.1 directly |
| admin/admin rejected | Password was changed during setup — factory reset if forgotten |
| VPN not routing all traffic | Check VPN client settings — enable "Route all traffic through VPN" in the client config |
| USB drive not showing up | Format drive as ext4 or FAT32 — NTFS is read-only by default in KeeneticOS |
Factory Reset
Hold the reset button on the back or bottom for 10–15 seconds. The device reboots to admin/admin credentials and 192.168.1.1 default IP. All VPN, VLAN, and custom settings are erased.
