Huawei Router Login
Huawei's consumer routers — sold under the WiFi AX series and older B and WS series — use a different default IP than most brands. Current models default to 192.168.3.1, while ISP-deployed Huawei gateways often use 192.168.100.1. The web admin address also works as 192.168.3.1, and newer routers can be set up via the AI Life or HiLink app.
One thing that stands out with Huawei routers: they have been among the first consumer routers to ship with Wi-Fi 6 Plus (their proprietary extension of 802.11ax with better dynamic narrowband technology). If you have a Huawei WiFi AX3 or AX6, you likely have one of the earlier mainstream Wi-Fi 6 routers.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| 192.168.3.1 not loading | Huawei 4G routers use 192.168.8.1 instead — check your model |
| ISP gateway locked down | Try telecomadmin / admintelecom — ISPs often leave the secondary account unchanged |
| Admin password forgotten | Factory reset: hold reset button 10 seconds |
| App can't find router | Make sure phone is on the same WiFi, and Bluetooth is on for initial pairing |
Factory Reset
Hold the reset button on the back for 10 seconds with the router powered on. The LED will flash and the router reboots. Current models return to setup wizard mode — use the AI Life app or web browser to reconfigure.
